Camille's intense need for all things paper presented her with an opportunity; she wound up with an application to volunteer at our local library, and there was no putting it out of her mind. She filled out her application and added some beautiful artwork to make her application stand out from the rest. We talked about how the library might not have much for her to do and she would have to be willing to do anything they asked of her...yes, even pick up garbage! She was willing and ready.
When we turned in her application, we explained we would be happy to come in just once and do something (anything!) to give back to the library. I don't know if they will actually ask her to come in (the librarian we gave it to sounded doubtful), but it would be nice if they would encourage the small desire of a young child who may find she loves volunteering.

Ahh, what a sweat heart! Logan and Morgan volunteer at their library by reading to younger kids. Maybe when Camille gets a little older she could do the same :)
