This week was my darling Camille's 8th birthday. On birthday morning when I went in to wake my Sleeping Beauty, I found her Prince Charming's bed! Thankfully, he's just her big brother! It was so easy getting her up this morning - if only every day were as exciting as her birthday.
We started with our usual routine of snuggling while reading scriptures, but this morning Todd listened from the kitchen as he whipped up Camille's favorite breakfast sandwiches that she requested from the King of Breakfast.
Before partaking of this goodness, she found a sweet note from Tate:
Dear Camille,
You are a good sister. I hope you have a good birth-day! I made you a paper snow-flake because I know you like crafts.

She also found a gift card that Nana left the night before (which she was so excited about, she went to Target and spent it right after school - she got a camera that she's been wanting desperately).
Before running off to school, she
had fun thought about popping these balloons. Tate wound up popping them for her. Each balloon had a little surprise in it for her. These were her four prizes: chapstick, a CTR Ring, a rolled up dollar bill, and some coins that flew EVERYWHERE. Kind of fun!
